Liqueur Flambé is the only acrobalance duo in the world to play stunt violin with their bows on fire. Combining a unique blend of circus stunts, virtuosic violin and comedy, their show has been said to deliver “a glorious moment of the heart”.

Miss Lili is known in London as ‘The Songbird of Trafalgar Square’, her performances have carried her to all the corners of the globe. Look out for the gorgeous Lili, dressed in her signature high heels and 50’s frocks, rubbing off a little of her vintage glamour and filling the air with her incredible songbird voice.

BOOTWORKS THEATRE present ‘THE LITTLE BOX OF HORRORS’ – UK
A playful and artfully choreographed five minute peep show for an audience of one and one hundred. Sit inside The Box and experience a terrifying nightmare from your intimate perspective and, like an old fairground ghost train, The Little Box of Horrors will have you clinging to your seat with dread. Outside The Box, watch as the performers dart, creep and shift into position bringing the sinister tale and disturbing images to life.

An authentic and faithfully reproduced version of the Victorian Optical phenomenon, be amazed as you see the sights of New Rd and Pavilion Gardens from this extraordinary perspective.
THE INCREDIBLE INSECT CIRCUS MUSEUM - UK

PAUL HENRI JEANNEL presents CHAPEAU MAGIQUE – FR
This wonderful International Street performer, professor and magician shas been presenting this beautiful interactive piece since 2002, be amazed as hundreds of magic paper hats fill the streets of brighton. A wonderful and delightful addition to this years’ event.
Walkabout / Promenade Performances
WET PICNIC present – THE DINNER TABLE – UK
The Dinner Table is a foodilicious extravaganza of exciting foodiliciousness. Ursula Harrington, Carrington Barrington and Farrington Larrington take you on a 20 minute crash course in how to behave at the table. A surreal and fun show where all the guests learn a little something.
CIRQUE BIJOU present ‘HELTERSKELTER’ – UK
These beautiful elegant stilt walking characters will bring their unique splash of colour to Fringe Street 2009. They’ve appeared all over the world and we’re very happy to have them with us this year.
THE FLYING BUTTRESSES present ‘HODMAN AND SALLY’ – UK

The delightfully captivating Hodman Dodmanott and Sally Forth, a wee pair of wonderful wanderers from the proud country of Oblivia. Despite being completely oblivious (and proud of it) Hodman and Sally will adorably attempt to explain the new and baffling world around them. A totally heart-warming and magical walkabout performance. |
THE WARDENS – UK

Colin and Tom Jones (Not “THE” Tom Jones!) are twin brothers. From a very young age they would play for hours on end at being Wardens. Impounding each other’s toy cars and clamping the rocking horse or prosecuting each other for any minor misdemeanour they could think of. It was no surprise that they became fully fledged Wardens when they grew up. But some say they take their job just a little too seriously.
