THE KARAVAN ENSEMBLE Coachwerks
Open a door within and be taken by a unique unfolding site-specific experience. A journey through dance, physical theatre, music, installation and the realms of human nature. From 6pm visit the intimate spaces created by the fools and at 8.30pm witness their absurd co-existence. A gripping adventure created by Yael Karavan with international performers. Including Sunday matinees for kids. TRANSPORT: Catch the BIG LEMON BUS from the Old Stein bus stop at 6pm to witness the start of the performance. Alternatively arrive at the venue for 6:30pm. For the matinee show please go direct to the venue for 1:45pm. PLEASE NOTE: Tickets will be made availble on the door for the Saturday night performance.

A promenade exploration of the Ovid’s poem of Icarus; his flight and fall. Drawing on poetry, literature and personal text. Strong physical and visual language will be employed and installation elements will help to navigate you through the performance. Follow a character in the unfolding stories or create a unique physical and visual journey of your own.
