New for 2014 - WINDOW
WINDOW is Brighton Fringe’s Arts Industry programme created to develop and encourage artists ready for the next step in their career. It is a platform for high quality, new work to be highlighted during the first days of Brighton Fringe (2-7 May 2014).
Click here to browse WINDOW 2014 events - selected by an independent panel of arts industry experts.
With the buzz of the May bank holiday weekend in one of the UK’s most popular cities, both established and emerging artists will have the perfect opportunity to showcase their work whilst also developing their professional networks at our arts industry events.
Events included in WINDOW are open to the public. All of them are new works created within the last year, and have been selected by a panel of industry experts. So you can be assured of a high quality, innovative experience.
WINDOW is supported by the Arts Council England and is partnered by The Stage.
Arts Industry Accreditation Open Now
If you wish to attend Brighton Fringe 2014 as an Arts Industry Professional, please sign up for accreditation here.
Were you accredited in 2013? We'd love to hear your feedback to help us make this year's arts industry provision better than ever. Please complete our short feedback form here.
If you meet our criteria, you will be accredited by the Brighton Fringe Arts Industry Team. Once accredited, you will have access to the following services:
Regular Arts Industry E-bulletins
Keep up to date with all things Arts Industry with our free and regular ebulletins
In addition to events featured in WINDOW, the Arts Industry Team will send you a list of events and performances that match your criteria (as stated in your accreditation application).
Once accredited, you may request tickets to see shows. Please note that Brighton Fringe cannot guarantee all ticket requests will be fulfilled as capacities and budgets may be small for some shows and guest tickets may not be available. We will be in touch with you within 72 hours of receiving your completed ticket request form. Contact Sarah Clews with your ticket requests: sarah.clews [at] brightonfringe.org
In addition to seeing shows at Brighton Fringe, accredited Arts Industry Professionals will also be invited to several networking opportunities throughout the Fringe, and will be approached to join the Brighton Fringe Arts Industry Facebook page, where they can network remotely, discuss their visit to Brighton Fringe, and give feedback on performances seen etc.
Arts Industry Professional Pack
Accredited Arts Industry Professionals will be issued with an exclusive pack upon arrival at Brighton Fringe. This includes an AIP Brighton Fringe Manual which contains details of WINDOW performances, AIP events and networking opportunities, and special discounts from our partners in and around Brighton.
New for 2014. Tell us when you’ll be in Brighton and the type of shows you’d like to see – we’ll create an itinerary for you and book your tickets too!
How many people from my organisation can be accredited?
To ensure we are providing an efficient service for all our acreditees, we will accredit up to 2 representatives per organisation. We require each individual to complete their own online form. This is because tickets are allocated on an individual basis. If you feel your organisation needs more than 2 accreditees, please contact the Arts Industry Office: artsindustry [at] brightonfringe.org or call 01273 764 900
What is the deadline for submitting an application?
The accreditation deadline is 5pm on Friday, 25th April 2014
Arts Industry Awards
Are you an Industry leader? Do you have a proven track record for delivering artistic excellence? Could you offer an award to Brighton Fringe Participants?
We would like to offer adventurous and innovative participants the opportunity to showcase their work beyond Brighton Fringe. If you can offer a participant an invitation to a programmed festival, single venue, an artistic residency or offer mentoring and help with the development of a project then please indicate your interest on the accreditation application form, or contact Sarah Clews: sarah.clews [at] brightonfringe.org
